Not Every Loss Is a Loss

Going through hardships in life teaches you more than you ever wanted to know.

It teaches you about the people who betray you while you are already face down in life.

About the "friends" who think the best advice is to bring your cat to a shelter so you can survive on the streets.

About the people who report your page because they believe being homeless is not enough of a challenge.

It made me reflect a lot this past week.

I can't even begin to imagine how empty people must feel inside to project these things onto others.

Where do people lose their soul?

At what point does putting others down make them feel better about themselves?

What part of them is triggered?

Where did they lose their spark for life?

How did people become so bitter?

We live in a world where everyone compares their lives to what they see online.

The truth is that what you see online is rarely what people truly experience in their daily lives.

Everyone goes through seasons of loss.

Everyone experiences grief, growth, change, setbacks, and challenges.

This period, where I am barely keeping my head above water, has also cost me friendships.

It reveals a lot.

And although I find it a painful and sad process, I try to see it as a blessing in disguise.

Because I learned a long time ago that not every loss is a loss.

Some losses are meant to happen so you can make space for something better.

Some losses free you from what has been holding you back.

Some losses teach us how to grow.

How to heal.

How to be strong.

How to trust God and the higher realms.

And I know that is not an easy process.

It hurts.

It takes time.

It requires us to process, adjust, grieve, and release.

Healing is not a moment in time.

It is a journey.

A journey that helps you grow through every experience.

May everyone find the lost pieces of themselves again.

May you always rise like a Phoenix, regardless of what life throws at you.

May your heart always feel the love of the people who are truly meant for you.

And may you always be protected by the hand of God.

❤️ Sabine
